Graveside services for Docia Ragan Sapp, 82, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Florida Street. The Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Ragan, Kent Ragan, John Ragan, Jr., Gary Ragan, Keith Ragan and Bill Friske. Mrs. Sapp died March 21 at Archbold Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born, April 3, 1927, in Manatee, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Vinson Charlie and Sally Mae Norman Ragan. She was married to James Clark, who preceded her in death. Later she married Max Sapp, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of Pineland Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Christine Cranford of Tullahoma, Tenn.; brother, John Ragan, Sr. of Thomasville; several nieces and nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by a brother, V.C. Ragan, Jr. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at
