Doris Bulloch Knight

Services for Doris Bulloch Knight, 89 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Blough will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Mississippi St. Mrs. Knight passed away December 21 at Thomasville Nursing & Rehab. Born October 17, 1923 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Willie G. Bulloch and Lillie Mae Spence Bulloch. On November 17, 1942 in Cairo she married Harry E. Knight who preceded her in death in 1989. She graduated from Cairo High School; in 1942 she graduated from Fla Business School and was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters, Phyllis K. White, Harriett K. Mims and husband Mike all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Christopher T. White and wife Teresa, Walter Spence White, Johnathan J. Mims and Justin M. Mims all of Thomasville; great grandchildren, Shayd White, Morgan White and Kayla White all of Thomasville; sisters, Lula Morrell of Cairo and Marge Clark of Thomasville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Sam Bulloch, Fred Bulloch, Newell Bulloch, William Bill Bulloch, Carlton Bulloch, Cyprian Bulloch, Henry Bulloch, Julia B. Cooper and Hazel B. Lee.
