Graveside services for Doris Keener Singletary, 85, of Hoschton, Ga, formally of Thomasville, are 10:00 am, Thursday, May 17, 2007, in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Father Frederick Buechner will officiate. Mrs. Singletary died May 14 at New Horizons North Nursing Home, in Gainesville, Ga. Born August 2, 1921 in Grady, AL., she was the daughter of the late Henry Roscoe & Bobbie Pyron Keener. In 1946 in Alabama she married Alton C. Singletary, who precedes her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Helen & Herman Small, of Hoschton, Ga, grandchildren, Rachel Hornig, of Rockledge, FL., Rebecca Heidelberg, of Powder Springs, Ga, Ruth Pfeifer, of Dallas, Ga, Rhonda Elsberry, of Powder Springs, Ga, Ted Singletary, of Thomasville, Scott Singletary, of Coolidge, Ron Singletary of Lovejoy, Ga, Donna Driggers, of Thomasville, Randy Knight, of Moultrie, Ray Truett, of Thomasville, Howard Knight, of Moultrie, sisters, Juanita Fitzgerald, Polly Sellers, both of Montgomery, AL., Bobbie Jean Ammons, of Wetumpha, AL., brother, Henry Keener, of Elmore, AL., 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great ? great grandchildren. A son, Robert Ted Singletary, and daughter, Dorothy Nell Knight, precedes her in death. Memorials may be made to Immune Deficiency Foundation, 40 W. Chesapeake, Ave, Suite 308, Towson, MD, 21204.
