Services for Doris T. Cannon of Pavo are at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Antioch Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Odom, Rev. Matt Stacey and Rev. Ken Baker will officiate. Mrs. Cannon died February 24, 2005 at Colquitt Co. Regional Hospital. Born on April 25, 1926 in Brooks Co., she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie Thompson. She was a homemaker after retiring from Coats and Clarks Company for 31 years, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. On September 10, 1943 she married Horace Cannon who survives. Other survivors include daughter & son-in-law Diane & Isaac Holt of Pavo, son & daughter-in-law James & Dawn Cannon of Lake Park, Ga.; grandchildren, Clint & Lynze Cannon of Great Falls, Mt.; Lisa & Scott Solana of Powder Springs, Ga.; Nancy & Byron Glover of Pavo, sister & brother-in-law Betty & Buddy Burton of Stuart, Fl.; brother Bill Thompson; brother & sister-in-law Lamar & Bernice Thompson, both of Pavo and six great grandchildren.
