Graveside services for Dorothy Eddings Rayburn of, Pavo are at 11:00AM on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Pavo Lebanon Cemetery. Dr. Jim Starr will officiate. Mrs. Rayburn died April 12, 2008 at Calhoun County Medical Center in Arlington, GA. Born October 29, 1919 in Colquitt Co., GA., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.Charlie Eddings. She was married to Clarence Andrew Rayburn, Jr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Rayburn was a member of Salem Baptist Church and worked at Pavo High School Cafeteria and the bakery at Flowers Baking Company. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley E., Sr. and Shirley Rayburn of Edison, GA; grandsons, Stanley Stan E., Jr. and Toni Rayburn of Arlington, GA, Stacey Warren and Cassie Rayburn of Thomaston, GA; great grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Rayburn, Riley Jo Alice Rayburn both of Ochlocknee, Colby Warren Rayburn of Thomaston; sister, Mae Eddings Bryan of Boston; sister-in-law, Lois Lacey Eddings of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Foldes, Rutherna Bozeman, Louise Sumner, Josephine Caruthers, Christine Ragen and brother, C. W. Eddings.
