Dorothy Galimore Ennis

Services for Dorothy Louise Galimore Ennis, 83, of Thomasville will be held at 11AM, Friday, May 13 at First Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Marty Carnes and Rev. Dr. Tom Jacobs will officiate. Mrs. Ennis passed away May 10, 2016 at Camellia Gardens. She was born April 3, 1933 in Brantley, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Galimore and Bertha Gertrude Nelson Galimore. She was married to Hubert Wayne Ennis who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ennis was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Reva Ennis Pierce (Jeff Schardt) of Thomasville, Resa Ennis Miller (Michael) of Stockbridge and Renee Ennis Hall (Jeff) of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren, Lindsey A. Wyatt, Bryan A. Pierce, Laura L. Pierce, Ashlie N. Loomis, Eric O. Gipson, Kyle B. Gipson, Blake T. Gipson, Jay R. Williams, Todd D. Williams, Brianne N. Williams and J. Mason Williams; great-grandchildren, Colton Dean Loomis, Aubrey Ryan Loomis, Ella Grace Wyatt and Ryleigh Elizabeth Wyatt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Milford & Frankie Ennis of Dothan, Alabama, Maerine & Jim Wise of Thomasville, Glenda & Gerry Shoaf of Orlando, Florida and Frances Jacobs of Elba, Alabama. The family will receive friends 10-11AM at First Baptist Church Chapel before the service. There will be a visitation held in Elba, Alabama on Saturday, May 14 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm (CST) at Hayes Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 3pm (CST) at Pine Level Cemetery.
