Graveside services for Dorothy Waldean (Dean) Harvey, 75, of Thomasville, GA will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Midway Baptist Church in Meigs, GA. Ms. Harvey departed this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, GA. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed family and friends, gardening, reading, cooking, and listening to gospel music. One of her favorite past times was Cherokee Lake, where she went on cool mornings to watch and feed the geese and ducks. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Harvey Roberts, daughter Peggy Roberson (Dan), son, Randy Harvey (Margaret), son Mickey Harvey (Jenny), son Tim Harvey (Allison), brother Bobby J. Layton (Shelby), sister Jean Marie Cooper, grandchildren, Kevin Roberts, Layton Harvey, Grayson Harvey, Anna Harvey, Christian Harvey, Bray Eubanks, Cayden Harvey, Aubrey Kate Harvey, Danielle Roberson Kaiser, Eleana and Will Kaiser and a host of nieces and nephews.
