Funeral services for Dorothy J Pigorsh are 3:30 pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Morningside Methodist Church where she was a member, with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Mrs. Pigorsh died November 27, at her residence. Born July 24, 1931, in Grady Co, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Godwin and Lucille Dekle Godwin. On May 17, at Dawson Street Methodist Church, she married Gerald Pigorsh who survives. Mrs. Pigorsh was employed as a telephone operator with Bell South, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Other survivors include daughter, Glenda Golden of Thomasville, grandson Gary Tucker and great-grandson, Jason Tucker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
