Services for Dorothy Jean Drummond, of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Owens and the Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00PM central time on Tuesday in Lovewood Cemetery, in Cottondale, Florida. Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Adults of Pineland Baptist Church. Mrs. Drummond died September 24, 2011 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born January 8, 1939 in Boston, GA she was the daughter of the late Lawton William and Loleta Phillips Jenkins. She was married to Billy Drummond who preceded her in death. Mrs. Drummond was a retired seamstress for Neel s Department Store and attended Pineland Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Marlene Henderson of Thomasville, son and daughter in law, Jerry and Teresa Owens of Live Oak, FL, brother, Randolph Jenkins of Monticello, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Janice and John "Dude" Cleveland of Thomasville, grandchildren, Kimberly Gould of Marietta, GA, Darrell Henderson of Greenville, AL, Tiffany Owens and Katelyn Owens both of Live Oak, FL and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Eugene Owens. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00PM on Monday at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel.
