Services for Dorothy Jean Folsom, 73, Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. The Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ron Barker, Ruehl Folsom, Jason Johnson, Ronnie Joiner, William Bill Outz and Bryan LaBree. Mrs. Folsom died on January 18, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 26, 1930 in Thomas Co., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ella Singleton. She was married to Daniel H. Folsom who preceded her in death. Mrs. Folsom attended Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church and was a retired nurse. Survivors include, Linda Allen Smith and husband John W. Smith of Ochlocknee, William David Folsom of Cairo, Arthur Dexter Shorty Folsom and wife Jody Ansley Folsom of Cairo, Velma Jean LaBree and husband, Steve LaBree of Plantation, Fl., Brenda Sue Gunn of Pembroke Pines, Fl., and Curtis Alvin Folsom and special friend, Lisa Pittman, a special niece, Gloria Duncan of Thomasville, sister-in-law, Jewel Folsom of Statenville, GA, grandchildren, Christina Suarez of Ochlocknee, Jodine Adkins and husband Lee Adkins of Sylvester, Bryan LaBree of Tampa, Fl., Rachael Gunn of Pembroke Pines, Fl., Preston Folsom, Ella Noelle Folsom, Joshua Dees and Justine Dees all from Cairo; great grandchildren, Tyler Dunham, Christopher Renyolds Pittman both of Ochlocknee, Brittany Adkins, Abbegayle Adkins and Tu Adkins all from Sylvester, plus many more devoted family and friends.
