Graveside services for Dorothy Jean Parramore Saxon, 77, of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, GA. The Rev. J. Tim Robson of East Side Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Saxon died Thursday, October 30, 2003 at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 15, 1926 in Thomas Co., she was the daughter of the late Olen James and Annie Sellers Parramore. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Eugene Saxon, Sr. and her brother, John W. ?J.W.? Parramore. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roy Eugene ?Sandy? Saxon, Jr. and Raquel Cannon Saxon of Meansville, GA.; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Jean Saxon Flannery and Jerry Flannery of Tifton, GA.; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Louis Hatcher of Maryville, TN and Chloe? Anais Bowen Flannery of Tifton; two sisters, Lorene Parramore Davis and Evelyn Parramore Sweat, both of Thomasville. An avid ?fisherman? and very active baby sitter, Mrs. Saxon was a retired bookkeeper from Friedlanders Department Store. Mrs. Saxon was a member of East Side Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to East Side Baptist Church, 220 Colton Ave., Thomasville, GA 31792 or to the American Heart Association, c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O.
