Services for Dorothy Jeanne Walker of Pavo are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Pavo Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Larry Harris will officiate and interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbeaers are Kelly Walker, Clint Bugg, Dustin Haskins, Cliff Hurst, Jason Hurst and Cory Whiddon. Mrs. Walker died Mar. 5 at Camellia Gardens. Born November 19, 1923 in Brunswick, GA she was the daughter of the late Goode Atkinson and Thelma Rayburn Melton. She was married to Flavis Augustus Gus Walker who preceded her in death. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald E. and Sandra Walker of Tifton, GA, E. Jack and Joan S. Walker of Pavo, GA, daughters and son-in-law, Julie W. and Tommy Hurst of Coolidge, GA, Lisa W. and Gilbert L. Haskins of Quitman, GA, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Dot Walker of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
