Dorothy L. Adams

Graveside services for Dorothy L. Adams of Thomasville, are at 3:00 PM Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Adams died December 22, 2002 at her residence. Born on July 13, 1925 in Boston, Ga., she was the daughter of Will Price and Gussie Cheek Price both who preceded her in death. She was married to William Lee Adams on Jan. 23, 1945 who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2000. Mrs. Adams was retired as a lunch room worker at East Side School after 24 years, and was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter Sandra Gibbs, daughter & son-in-law Faye and Mike Ward, son Tony Adams, all of Thomasville, grandchildren Brandi Broadway, Ariel Adams, Drew Adams, great grandchildren Sabrinna Broadway and Cody Broadway. She was preceeded in death by brother and sisters Ruth Louise Bass, Lela Mae Scales, George W. Price, Lonnie Franklin Price and Geneva Price. The family will recieve friends Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
