Dorothy Louise McKinnon MacDonald, 79, died November 27, 2013 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, GA . She was born in Thomasville, Georgia, on September 14, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Louise Swift McKinnon and Charles Wilson McKinnon, Sr. She graduated from Thomasville High School, and was married in 1954 to Marvin Glen Heath of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who survives. She later married Donald John MacDonald of Miami, Florida, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her three sons: Charles Glen Heath and his wife Joy, Bradley Howard Heath and his wife Beth, and Stanton McKinnon Heath and his wife Linda, all from the Atlanta and Canton, GA area. She is also survived by her twin brother, Charles Wilson McKinnon, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Thomasville. A brother, James Orin McKinnon, preceded her in death. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Megan Heath Prendergast, Laura Heath Clover, Holly Heath, Justin Heath, Charlie Heath, Courtney Heath, Brett Neidlinger, Dylan Munsey, and Veronica Munsey. Three great grandchildren, Patricia Heath, Jackson Prendergast, and Ansley Clover, also survive. Nephews and nieces surviving include Bill McKinnon of Birmingham, Alabama, Elizabeth McKinnon Edge of Greenville, SC, and Fran McKinnon Herndon of Thomasville. She is also survived by cousins, Robert S. McKinnon, of Baxley, Georgia, Len V. McKinnon III, of Columbus, Georgia, and Betsy McKinnon Jones and Jack W. McKinnon of Tallahassee, Florida. A native of Thomasville, she returned to live in her hometown about 15 years ago where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Thomasville Junior Service League. Recently, in June 2013, she moved to the Atlanta area to be near her three sons and grandchildren. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville.
