Services for Dorothy Maye Lamb, 82, of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2013 Eastside Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lamb died August 6 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 20, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Nathan Champion and Ethel Carpenter Champion. She was married to Robert Eugene Lamb who survives. Mrs. Lamb was a LPN at Galion Community Hospital. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother. She is with the Lord in Heaven. She was saved in February 1964 at Vermillion Baptist Church in Perrysville, Ohio. Mr. & Mrs. Lamb were called Momma & Poppa at their church. They loved wildlife and spent many evenings with their friends watching & feeding 3 fox who lived in the woods behind them. Momma Lamb had a name for each one of them. Poppa will gladly continue this pleasant job. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Travis Gibbs of Thomasville; son, Jeffery Lamb of Panama City, Fl; daughter, Kelly Lamb of Charlotte, NC; brother, Howard Champion of Bucyrus, Ohio; grandchildren, Amber Niswonger, Caden Lamb, Lindsay Cundiff and Melis'a Latham.
