Dorothy Mobley Vick

Graveside services for Dorothy Mobley Vick will be held at 2:00PM on Friday March 16, 2018 in Laurel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tommy McCormick (Mary Alice) officiating. Mrs. Vick passed away on Monday March 12, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on March 28, 1929 in Whigham, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Jesse Mobley and Nellie Mae Hancock Mobley. Mrs. Vick was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church and bookkeeper at Commercial Bank in Thomasville and at the Coca Cola Company in Tallahassee. She was a wonderful wife, mother and a great cook. She was married for 56 years to Homer E. Vick of Ochlocknee who survives. Other survivors include her son Wayne A. Vick and his wife Peggy of Pelham, Al; grandson Tyler C. and his wife Sara Vick of Starkville, Miss; sister Iris Robertson of Cairo; brother Tommy Mobley and his wife Voncile of Thomasville; special neighbors Robbie and Whitney Hopkins. She was preceded in death by her son Larry Castleberry and her brother Bill Mobley.
