Graveside services for Dorothy Jane Sherrod, 72, will be 10:00AM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate. Born November 26, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Robert Suits and Lucille Williams. Mrs. Sherrod was a member of Rose City Church of God. She was married to Cecil Sherrod, who preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter Sarah Wilson and Kenneth Linton both of Thomasville; grandchildren Tina Twiggs, Tara Starling, Leann Carter, Kenneth Linton, Moriah Linton, Beau Krumholtz; great grandchildren Amber Shimkus, Tiara Shimkus, Thomas Brantley, Alazai, Carter, and Eli Carter; and sister Elvie Shaulis of Ohio.
