Dorothy Gunter Walker

Dorothy Gunter Walker, 95, of Thomasville passed away December 9, 2024 at Pruitt Health in Moultrie. Born August 23, 1929 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Lee Gunter and Willie Smith Gunter. She was married to C.T. Walker, who preceded her in death.
She worked at Warner's and several school cafeterias in the county, Pavo School, Magnolia School and Cross Creek School. She enjoyed baking and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter Mitzi Walker Evers and husband Carl of Thomasville; and a host of special nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Brannon Gunter, Ralph Gunter, Louise Gunter Shiver, Dean Gunter Bertschy and Rebecca Gunter Roberds.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00PM on Friday December 13, 2024 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
