Services for Dorothy Woods Williams, 91, of Thomasville, are at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Allen and Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Williams passed away April 17 at the Presbyterian Nursing Home in Quitman. Born, Sept. 28, 1918, in Millville, Fla., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Johnnie Elizabeth Simmons Woods. She was married to Curtis Williams who preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Lanae LaPoint and husband, Don of Lima, Ohio, Vivien Glass and husband, Ray and Erica Smith all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Donald LaPoint and Cindy and Roy Davis all of Lima, Ohio, Bobby and Christy Glass, Curtis Robert and Tina Glass, Kevin Allen and Darla Glass and Brett Smith all of Thomasville; great-grandchildren, Cody LaPoint, Kayla LaPoint, Tiffany and Josh Hare and Curtis and Roxanne LaPoint all of Lima Ohio, Jarrod Ross and Britney Glass, Karl and Mallory Glass, Tyler Joseph Glass, Heather Marie Glass, Nicholas Ryles, Peyton Ray Glass, Melinda Glass, Allen Glass, Morgan Reaves and Zoey Reaves all of Thomasville; great great-grandchild, Konner Glass of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Nursing Home Alzheimer's unit, 1901 West Screven Street, Quitman, Ga. 31643.
