Dorothy Dot Jean Gibbs Cosper

A memorial service for Dorothy Dot Jean Gibbs Cosper, 73, of Tifton will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 14, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Chula where she was a member. Dot was born July 25, 1939 in Tift County to the late Hazel Bass Gibbs & Halton Gibbs. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, F.W. Cosper. Other survivors include her daughters, Sandy Fletcher and husband Travis of Chula and J.J. Austin of Tifton; grandchildren, Christy Fletcher, Brett Fletcher both of Chula, Kali Austin of Tifton and Dustin Morrison of Charlotte, SC; brother, Tommy Gibbs and wife Kay of TyTy and nieces, Wendy Pollack of Tifton and Rebecca Murphy of LaGrange. The family would like to thank all of those who have been so kind and who prayed for Dot during her illness, especially all of the staff at Golden Living Center; TRMC Med-East and Dr. Stewart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Fund at First Baptist Church of Chula, 30 Academy Dr, Chula, Ga 31733.
