Funeral services for Doug Riggs, 67, of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. Olen Cain will officiate and internment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Riggs passed away October 18, 2020 in Tallahassee. Born January 2, 1953 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late JC Riggs and Joyce Wilder Riggs, who survives, of Thomasville. He was married 44 years to Diane Bozeman Riggs who survives. He was owner of Rose City Coin Laundry and worked for Metcalf Lumber Mill. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, taught Sunday School and Children’s Church. He is survived by his mother; wife; children, Sammy Riggs (Brittany) of Metcalf and Kristie Dunlap (Jamie) of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kailyn Godboldt, Corey Godboldt, Aidan Hunt, Declan Riggs, Hailey Dunlap, Christian Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Novah Byrd and Aubree Dunlap; brothers & sisters, Kathy Stephens (Johnny), Danny Riggs (Eddie Craven) and Debbie Monk (Clint) all of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Belma Bozeman of Pavo; sisters-in-law, Linda Bozeman and Denise Miller (James) all of Pavo; brother-in-law, Doyle Bozeman (Betty Ann) of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Tom Stillwell; brother-in-law, Dennis Bozeman; father-in-law, Willis Bozeman; grandparents; Roy & Effie Wilder and E.T. & Georgia Riggs. The family will receive friends 5-7pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit his online guest register at www.allenfh.com
