Graveside services for Douglas Thomas Hicks, Jr. of Baconton, Ga. will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday December 28, 2025 in Little Ochlocknee Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Blow officiating. Mr. Hicks passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at his residence. Born on July 28, 1944 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Douglas Hicks Sr. and Monteene Pierce Hicks. He is survived by his wife Christine Reynolds Hicks of Baconton; daughters Teresa Lamb (Robert) of Merrillville, Donna Lindvale (Robert) of Ochlocknee, Cindy Hicks (David) of Merrillville step-children Randy Ditty, Greg Ditty, Terri Ditty, Julie Nichols, Jennifer Ditty all of Alaska, and Steve Ditty of Wisconsin; sister Brenda Hester (Jimmy) of Boston; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Glenda Ruth Murphy Hicks.
