Services for Doyle Abram Bozeman will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
Doyle Abram Bozeman of Thomasville went to be with the Lord on October
20, 2023 at age of 70 after losing his battle with cancer.
Doyle was born on July 5th, 1953 in Pavo, GA to Willis and Belma Bozeman. He was the second born of four children. Let's just say he beat to his own drum from the very beginning. Growing from a shy little boy to large man of few words. But when he spoke most stopped and listened. Doyle settled down in Thomasville where he got married to the Love of his life Betty Ann Bozeman and raised their two sons Doss and Chad Bozeman.
Doyle worked as a carpenter for years, working at Champion /Piedmont Homes, Culpepper Construction and eventually working as a private contractor on numerous projects around Thomas County.
Doyle was a car enthusiast to say the least. He loved to build and tinker on cars, especially his Chevrolet Camaro. He also enjoyed watching football especially his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. Doyle had a couple other passions that went hand in hand. Hanging out with his friends down by the lake and listening to his southern rock music.
If you knew Doyle, you knew he had a since of humor like no other. He would give you a hard time to just see your reaction or say something completely off topic to the subject that was being discussed in order to get a rise out of you.
At the end of the day, he Loved his family through the ups and downs, the good and the bad. He was a Big man with a tough outer shell, but deep down he was a Mama's Boy. He loved his wife, his kids, his grand kids and specially his numerous four-legged friends.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Kirkland Bozeman; sons, Doss Bozeman and wife Christina of Orlando, Fl and Chad Bozeman and wife Shannon of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Tanner Bozeman and Taylor Bozeman; mother Belma Bozeman sister, Diane Riggs of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Linda Bozeman of Pavo and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Willis Bozeman; brother, Dennis Bozeman; sister, Denise Bozeman and brother-in-law, Doug Riggs.
The family will greet friends before the service from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at the funeral home.
