Services for Edith Mae Hamilton, 90, of Jacksonville, FL, will be held 1:00PM on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hamilton passed away May 07, 2014 in Jacksonville, Fl. Born November 06, 1923 in Cordele, GA, she was the daughter of the late James and Susie Anderson Lampkin. Mrs. Hamilton was married to Eugene Hamilton, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed playing bingo and doing word searches. Survivors include children William Timmons (Janette), Chester Hudlow (Debbie), Eugene Hamilton (Beth), Catherine H. Lamphier (Jim) and Vernon Hamilton (Martha); 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother James T. Lampkin; sisters Francis Foster and Gertrude Massey; one son Clifford Hamilton and one grandchild. The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 11:00AM until 1:00PM.
