Graveside services for Edith “LaRue” Swymer will be 10 a.m. Saturday September 14th, 2019 at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo with Pastor Ken Burgess officiating. Edith passed away on September 11th, 2019 at the Presbyterian Nursing Home in Quitman. Born October 2, 1929 in Morven, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Harley Olliff and Mary Wilcox Olliff. Ms. Swymer loved fishing, reading, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family. Surviviors include her children Judy Flowers of Pavo, Danny Swymer(Melissa) of Pavo and Linda Morris of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Sharen Nichols (Wayne), James Flowers Jr., Allan Morris, Kristie Morris, Stephen Swymer(Leah), D.J. Swymer(Paige); numerous great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Sandra Hart, Jack Hart, Julie Carroll, Lee Carroll, Betty Swymer, Barbara Ferguson, George Wynn, Thelma Buchanan, James Waters. She was preceded in death by husband Asbury Swymer; sons-in-law- James Flowers and Roger Morris. The family will receive friends, Friday September 13, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
