Edith Terry Finn Cook

Edith Terry Finn Cook, born July 8, 1929, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024 at Southern Pines.
Terry went to and graduated from high school in Bowling Green, KY. She then graduated from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
She worked several jobs, her favorite being a draftsman for an engineering firm in Nashville, TN.
Terry met the love of her life John, and they were married soon after. Sadly, John passed away in 2001.
Terry really enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and painting classes. She and John took painting classes together and loved going to flea markets and craft shows.
Survivors include her sister DeShea Rimes of Tallahassee, nephew Ted Wilson (Sheila) of Orlando, FL, niece Terry Wilson (Banner Elk) of NC, and cousins Don and Sheila Claytor of Franklin, TN.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held Tuesday, September 10th at 2 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation prior to the service at 1 pm. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
