Edmond Ed Simpson Millere, Jr.

Memorial services for Edmond S. Ed Millere, Jr., 76, will be held at 2 pm, Friday, July 6 at Trinity Anglican Church. Father Jim Hobby will officiate. Mr. Millere passed away on June 29, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born June 27, 1936 in Mineola, NY, he was the son of the late Edmond Millere, Sr. and Estelle Kuhn Millere. He attended Nichols Junior College. On August 23, 1958 in Massillon, OH, he was married to Nancy Ris Millere, who survives. Mr. Millere retired in 1988 from Lee's Carpet of Burlington Industries, where he was a territory manager. Also surviving are sons Mark K. Millere Milissa of North Charleston, SC, Edmond S. Millere, III Marcia of Thomasville, GA, and Dale K. Millere Jaime of Medford, NJ; daughter Debra Lea Millere Griner of Thomasville, GA; sisters Nancy M. Gamber of Annandale, VA, and Marilyn Walter of Naples, FL. Other survivors are seven grandchildren, Stacie M Long Jason, Martin K. Millere, James L. Griner, Rosalie A. Millere, Ella D. Millere, Daniel J. Millere and Lyndsey K. Millere. He was preceded in death by a son in law, Steven W. Griner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the rector's fund at Trinity Anglican Church, P. O. Box 112, Thomasville, GA 31799 or pastor's fund at First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville, 225 E. Jackson St, Thomasville, GA 31792.
