Edna Pond Adams

Services for Edna Catherine Pond Adams, 101 of Thomasville will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Danny Ray will officiate. Mrs. Adams passed away May 11 at her residence. Born April 22, 1915 in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Alice Hyde Pond. She is preceded in death by first husband, Dexter Eugene Richmond and second husband, Harold Adams. Mrs. Adams was a registered nurse with Northshore Hospital and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tallahassee. She is survived by children, Gail Griggs of Thomasville and Douglas Richmond of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren, Ginger Garrity and husband Patrick, Andy Richmond and David Richmond; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Lori Hensley and Robert Dunlap; brother, Donald Pond and sister, Alberta Bronson.
