Edna Elizabeth Palmer

Services for Edna Elizabeth Benton Palmer, 89 of Thomasville will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. Mrs. Palmer passed away September 25, 2019 at Archbold Hospital. Born on February 26th, 1930 in Ochlocknee, she was the daughter of the late Perry L. Benton and Sarah Elizabeth Ponder Benton. She was married to the late James Hilton Palmer for 57 years. Edna was affiliated with the Church of God Faith. She loved nature, her family and she will be missed dearly. Survivors include, children, Andy Palmer (Linda) of Ochlocknee, GA, Steve Palmer (Rhonda) of Quitman, GA, Gary Palmer of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Lori Palmer, Charles Palmer, Matt Palmer, Brian Palmer; great- grandchildren, Andrew Palmer; siblings, Madie McClendon of Thomasville, GA, Jeanette Tucker of Thomasville, GA, Ronnie Benton of Thomasville, GA, Lera Fielding of Thomasville, GA, Jimmy Benton (Sandra) of Thomasville, GA, Edward Benton of Thomasville, GA; sister-in-law, Margie Griffin of Thomasville, GA. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Vera Palmer, Donald Benton, and Myrtle Griffin.
