Edna Marie Sherrod

Graveside services for Edna Marie Meades Sherrod, 66 of Ochlocknee will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Sherrod passed away August 9, 2020 at her residence. Born July 31, 1954 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Meades and Edna Hampton Meades. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching westerns, fishing and shopping with her best friend Sally Lindsey. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Pyle of Altus, OK, George Cramer (Teresa) of Metcalf, Joseph Cramer (Robin) of Thomasville, Thomas Sherrod (Tori) of Fort Campbell, KY, Anthony Sherrod of Thomasville, Irene Rogers (Micky) of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Dontay Everett, Damian Cramer, Zachary Cramer, Larry Pyle, Allison Pyle, Harmon Sherrod, Kylie-Jo Sherrod, Kaden Sherrod, Makenzy Rogers, Ashlyn Rogers, Devin Rogers; 5 great-great granddaughters, Bella, Aliyah, Olivia, Maya Arellano and Ayla Everett; brothers, Edward Meades, Leon Meades, both of Ochlocknee and Allen Meades of North Carolina; sister, Ruby (Jose) Padilla and Rosalee Pyle all of Ochlocknee. She was preceded in death by parents; brothers & sister, Roscoe “Rap Jack” Meades, Michael Meades, James Meades, Pete Meades and Joan Meades.
