Edward Lee George, 81, of Thomasville, GA, died peacefully at home of a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, July 6, 2017. He was the son of Laurine and Clinton George of MI. He is survived by his wife, soul mate, and best friend, Pamela. Also surviving are his daughter, Sarah (Paul) Hebert, twin sons Michael (Heidi) and Lee (Carmen), stepson, Jeffrey (Savannah) Wade, stepdaughter, Shannon Wade, and his sister, Violet Mathews, and nine grandchildren, all of Michigan. Ed graduated from Pontiac (MI) High School, Eastern Michigan University, and completed graduate studies at Michigan State University. He was a school psychologist with the Muskegon Public Schools for 36 years. Ed was a man of many varied interests: sailing Friendship, photography, Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens), flying, reading, collecting watches, growing roses, driving our Porsche, Ham Radio W8ELG, enjoying family and friends with good conversation. He felt strongly the importance of paying community dues by serving on many boards- national, state, and local. In memory of Ed, take a few moments to reflect on the way he was part of your life.
