Services for Edward S. Hutchinson of Pavo are at 3:00PM on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Pavo Methodist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Dick Turnipseed will officiate. Mr. Hutchinson died Nov. 4 in Jasper, FL. Born November 22, 1916 in Brooks Co., GA he was the son of the late Robert M. and Mary Alice Wade Hutchinson. On August 2, 1941 in Coolidge he married Clara Nell Greene Hutchinson who survives. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an automobile mechanic. Mr. Hutchinson formally served as the Mayor of Pavo, the Pavo City Council, and as the Fire Chief of the Pavo Volunteer Fire Dept. Other survivors include sons, Marion E. Buddy Hutchinson of Jonesboro, GA, Glynn F. Hutchinson of Jasper, FL; brother, Franklin L. Hutchinson of Calhoun, GA, sister, Elizabeth Ann Edmonds of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Kristy R. Hutchinson, Thomas Edward Hutchinson, Melanie Simner; great grandchildren, Thomas Edward Hutchinson, Jr., Evan Lee Hutchinson, Nathan Shea Dorsey, Amanda Dorsey and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to the Pavo Methodist Church at P.O. Box 97, Pavo, Ga. 31778.
