Services for Edward Joseph Such, 93 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Greg Souders will officiate and interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 13th street. Mr. Such passed away May 29 at Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. Born August 31, 1920 in Thompsonville, Conn; he was the son of the late John Anthony Such and Katherine Kogurt Such. He was married to the late Julia Willeen Hurst Such. Mr. Such was a United States Army-Air Force veteran. He was an airplane mechanic and serviced the Enola Gay after its mission over Japan. He was a very supportive & loving father and grandfather and will be missed by his family. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Ann Ring (David) of Dixie, Thomas Anthony Such (Kathy)of Thomasville and Jo S. Mathew of Lumber City; grandchildren, John Anthony Such (Randi), Donald Thomas Such (Hanna) Brooke Ring, Ian Mathew, Nicole Diane Such, James Edward Such and Tammy Lee Rabon (Robert); great grandchildren, Kately Rabon, Lucas Wickham, Dusty Rabon and Jacob Sigman; brother, Stanley Such; special caregivers, Randi Such, Chrissy Peacock, Jill Sloan and Mitchell Adderton. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Darlene Such; brothers, Fred Such and Frank Such. His family will greet friends 4-6 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
