Graveside services for Edwin Franklin Cox, 71, of Thomasville are 2 pm, Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Odom will officiate. Mr. Cox died May 21, 2009 at Archbold Hospital. Born December 28, 1937 in Tampa Fl, he was the son of the late George E. Cox and Bessie Coffee Cox. On April 9, 1960 in Boston, he married Nancy Harrod Cox, who survives. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Other survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Edwin Anthony Tony & Karen Cox, Dale & Brenda Cox, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 2 step-grandchildren.
