Eileen Scott Griner

Services for Eileen Yvonne Scott Griner, 67 of Metcalfe will be held at 11AM, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Neely will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Griner passed away May 2 at her residence, after a brief illness. Born March 5, 1949 in Daytona, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. Scott and Arlene Lora Schwab Scott. On September 14, 1968 in Holly Hill, Florida she married Bobby Griner who survives. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was employed with Stephen Gainous State Farm. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa & Keith Porter of Thomasville, Kristina & Shane Slaton and Dana & Daniel Twehues all of Metcalf; grandchildren, Matthew & Nicole Porter, Kyle Porter, Taylor Acrey and Bobby Daniel Twehues; brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Pauline Scott of Port Orange, Florida and brother, Robert Scott of Tennessee. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 A Mimosa Dr Thomasville Ga 31792 or Archbold Foundation, 910 South Broad St Thomasville Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 5-7pm, Wednesday, May 4 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
