Elaine Reneau Miller

Funeral services for Elaine (Mamie) Reneau Miller, 71, of Ochlocknee, will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016, 11:00AM at Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and the interment will be held at Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Bozeman, Richard Bozeman, Neal Bozeman, Don Gurley, Chris White and Ryan McElreath and honorary pallbearers will be Russ Singletary and Freddie Vaughn. Mrs. Miller passed away on January 17, 2016 in Moultrie. Born June 19, 1944 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Clifton (Spot) Floyd and Lillian Culpepper Floyd. She was married to Hubert Miller, who survives. Mrs. Miller was a long time member of Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. She loved life, the outdoors, wildlife, children, people and most of all, her family. She worked at the Thomas County Sheriff’s Department for twenty years and was later employed at Southwestern State Hospital for ten years. Survivors include son, Chris and Belynda Reneau of Thomasville; step-son, Kevin Miller of Ochlocknee; grandson, Heath and Christina Reneau of Thomasville; sister, Faye and Bill Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Floyd and Ferris Floyd. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com .
