Graveside services for Eleanore Emily Sykes Martin, 89 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 28 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. David Koetter will officiate. Mrs. Martin passed away March 23 at Archbold Hospital. Born July 11, 1924 in Berwyn, IL; she was the daughter of the late Felix J. Sykes and Lillian Hanahan Sykes. She was married to Robert Charles Martin who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Bob Martin and wife Donna of Ochlocknee and daughter, Wendy Martin Bottomley and husband Dennis of Sparta, TN; grandchildren, Tiffany Martin See and husband Bryan, Courtney Martin Unger and husband Marc and Mackenzy Martin; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews. She was also preceded in death by sister, Lillian Sykes and Felix J. (Bud) Sykes, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 211 N.
