Elenora B Sculley

Services for Elenora Bertha Sculley will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery of Thomasville, Ga, with Reverend Gary Brady and Reverend Whit Bynum officiating. Elenora Bertha Sculley passed away on February 21, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on July 12, 1932, in Pelham, Georgia to the late Ruby Pollock Taylor and Devous Cannon. Elenora was better known by many as "Bertha". She married Thomas E. Sculley on September 10, 1951, and they were married for 39 years, who preceded her in death. Bertha was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and put her faith in God. Bertha worked as the Dietitian Manager in the Thomasville City School System and Thomas County School System for many, many years before retiring. After retiring from the school system, she began working at JC Penney's and Belk in Thomasville, Georgia as a Sales Associate. After several years of her devoted time with Belk, she then retired from there as well. Bertha is survived by her sons, Thomas Kenneth Sculley and Ronald Sculley (Leanna), of Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Bryan Sculley (Chelsea), Kristen Sculley (Travis), and Stephanie Burgess (Dalton) of Thomasville, Georgia; sister, Jean Mitchell of Carrabelle, Florida; brother, Calvin Cannon of Thomasville, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Pollock and Devous Cannon, sister, Patricia Kindred, brother, George Taylor, aunt, Alice Brady, uncle, Afton Brady; her life-long friend, Maurice McMath Chandler. The family of Elenora Sculley would like to thank Bethany Hospice for the exceptional care that she received during her times of illness.
