Services for Eli Eubanks, 11 years, of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Dillon Road Presbyterian Church where he was a member. Rev. Doug Simmons and Rev. Brad Shealey will officiate. Eli passed away February 9 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fl. Born February 19, 2002 in Tallahassee he was the son of Fred Eubanks and Suzanne Bailey Eubanks of Thomasville. Eli was a 6th grader in the Merit Program at Thomas County Upper Elementary, where he played the clarinet in the school band. He was a Boy Scout with Troup # 302, a member of the First Lego League and sang in the church choir. Other survivors include Brothers, Ashley Eubanks and wife Pati of Thomasville and Scott Eubanks and wife Candice of Cairo; Paternal Grandparents, Freddie B. Sr. & Canary Eubanks of Thomasville; Maternal Grandfather, James C. Bailey of Eastlake Weir, Fl; Maternal Grandmother, Peggy W. Howells of Cairo; Uncles, Clint Bailey of Eastlake Weir, Fl and Jason Bailey of Cairo; Aunts, Beth Howells of Tallahassee, and Carolyn Smith and husband Billy of Tallahassee; Niece, Coleen Eubanks and Nephew, Bray Eubanks; Cousins, Joshua Bailey of Frankfurt, Germany, Sheena Peavey, Dusty Sutton, Jonah Howells, Brian Smith and Aimee Smith. The Eli Eubanks Memorial Fund has been set up at any Commercial Bank Branch to help the family with funeral expenses.
