Graveside services for Elizabeth Betty Butler Griffin, 91 of Thomasville are 2 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Burns Willis will officiate. Ms. Griffin passed away September 27, 2011 at Camellia Gardens. Born July 10, 1920 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy N. Butler and Clara Carter Butler. On October 22, 1950 in Alabama she married Paul R. Griffin who preceded her in death. Ms. Griffin was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden and keeping her flowers beautiful to show her hard work and loved watching and caring for her birds. Survivors include friends Bobby and Betty Griffin of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by sisters Josie Neel and Mildred Heath. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com
