Graveside services for Elizabeth Eloise Weaver Drawdy, 85 of Thomasville will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pastor Ken Burgess will officiate. Mrs. Drawdy passed away August 24, 2020 at Rose City Health & Rehab. Born September 6, 1934 in Newton, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Payton Weaver and Zelma Norman Weaver. She was married to Ed Drawdy, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Drawdy retired from Southwestern State Hospital and was a member of Pine Hill Holiness Church. She enjoyed singing and cooking. She is survived by her children, Linda Brown of Cairo and Marcus Thornton and wife Patricia of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Keith Thornton (Misi), Michelle Smith (Rex), Roger Brown (James), Libby Sumner (Danny) and Mark Brown (Rhonda); 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Pat Weaver (Millie) of Cairo, John Weaver of Pelham, Bobby Weaver (Cathy) of Newton and Ray Weaver of Thomasville; sister, Inez McMullen (Paul) of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by son, Lynwood Thornton; brother, Robert Weaver; sister, Sally Parker and son-in-law, Charles Allen Brown.
