September 28, 1923 — October 30, 2022

Graveside Service for Elizabeth Hall will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Ochlocknee City Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Norman and Rev. Rick Bucher officiating. Visitation one hour prior also at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Ross, Billy Ross, Allen Ross, Ben Greve, Michael Bennett, and Chris Burkhart. Born September 28, 1923, in Atlanta, Ga to Jesse Carl Alligood and Lena Grace Wrinkle Alligood, our mother, Grace Elizabeth Alligood Hall, 99, lived a full and fruitful life displaying Grace, Love, and Dignity to all she met and knew. In her early childhood, the family moved from Birmingham, Al, and then later to Ochlocknee, Ga. It was while attending Ochlocknee Elementary School she met and married the absolute love of her life, Ralph C. Hall, Sr. They were secretly married on Easter Sunday, April 13, 1941, by Justice of the Peace, J.W.H. Mitchell. They did not tell their parents until after Ralph graduated high school that year. Their parents were not pleased, to say the least as they thought they were too young to know what they were doing. They were so wrong about that! They were happily married for 64 years when her beloved husband passed away in 2005. This union created her children, Gwen Hall Snyder (deceased), Larry Allen Hall (Ginette), Susan Elizabeth Hall Herin, and Ralph C. Hall, Jr.(deceased). Her grandchildren, Wendy Lynn Hall Bennett (Michael), Stephanie Ann Hall Burkhart (Chris), Jennifer Lynn Hall Bailey, Chris Turner, and Crystal Snyder, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nephews: David Ross (Jackie), Billy Ross (Dovie), Allen Ross (Cathy), and niece Judy Ross Greve (Ben). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her beloved sister Dorothy Louise Alligood Ross, son in laws John Snyder, and Kip Herin. Our mother was content to live a very quiet and simple Christian life and was honored to be a servant of God by serving in various roles as a member of Ochlocknee Baptist Church for 75 years. Two of her favorite charities were Ochlocknee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 69 Ochlocknee, Ga 31773, and Billy Graham Evangelical Association 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217.
