Services for Elizabeth Wood Jones, 86, of Boston will be Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 2:00PM at Boston Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate with burial at Boston Cemetery. Mrs. Jones passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2002 at her residence. Born May 2, 1916 in Thomas Co., Ga., she was the daughter of the late Dolphus Elgin & Semarmis Cook Wood. She was a homemaker and was married to Edgar Frank Jones who preceded her in death in 1968. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Faye & Josh Groover Herring of Boston, grandchildren and spouses, Deidre & Todd Parramore of Valdosta, Joshua & Christa White Herring of Boston, great grandchildren, Miles & Emory Parramore of Valdosta, and brother, Richard E. Wood of Oneonta, Al. She was preceded in death by a sister, Floranell Freeman. Memorials may be made to Boston Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
