Ellen Chastain Haslam Van Alstine

Ellen Chastain Haslam Van Alstine, 61 of Thomasville passed away May 17, 2013 at Archbold Hospital. Born February 28, 1952 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Adam Worrill Haslam and Martha "Duchess" Chastain Donovan. Ms. Van Alstine attended Georgia Southern College where she studied English and was a member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville. She is survived by her children, David Kimmons and Joey Van Alstine both of Thomasville; sister, Susan H. Brown of Thomasville; brother, Jim Haslam of Canton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by daughter, Kristen Kimmons Woolsey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society, 180 Big Star Dr, Thomasville, Ga 31757.
