Elmer J. Kirk, Jr., 75, formerly of Atlanta and most recently residing in Thomasville, Ga died June 21, 2008 following an 8 year courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Harriet, two daughters, Joi Bowyer and Teri Fuller, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, his sisters Jackie Macon and Sandra Burrell, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Prospect United Methodist Church on June 24th at 6pm.
