Graveside services for Eloise Bryant Hurst of Boston are at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Lott will officiate. Mrs. Hurst died July 6 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 3, 1925 in Colquitt Co., GA, she was the daughter of the late Enos Carey and Prudie Barton Bryant. She was married to Joseph Homer Hurst who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hurst was a founding and longest active member of Boston Church of God. She was a homemaker, enjoyed flowers and was an avid gardner. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Nettie and Allyn Kennedy of Thomasville, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Malcom and Linda Hurst of Pelham, GA, grandson and spouse, David and Gerriann Kennedy, granddaughters, Kristen Hurst and Danielle Hurst, brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Delilah Bryant of Funston, GA, sisters, Verna Mae Roberts, Dorothy Hurst of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews. A son, Randy Hurst and brothers, Johnny Bryant, Silas Bryant, Donald Bryant and Carley Bryant, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
