Mrs. Burke died Thursday, February 24, 2005, at Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Ga. Born May 22, 1917, in Thomas Co.; She was the daughter of the late W.T. & Bessie Elizabeth Gray Knapp. She was retired from Southwestern State Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was married to P.G. Burke who precedes her in death. A son, Pascal G. BurkeIII, also precedes her in death.
