Services for Elsie C. Thornhill of Barwick are at 11:00AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at Barwick Baptist Church. Interment will be at the Roselawn Cemetery in Barwick. Mrs. Thornhill died July 12, 2003 at Camellia Gardens. She was born on June 22, 1909 in Culman, AL., to the late Charles Allen Chandler and Agnes Johnson Chandler. She was married to Leonard Thornhill who preceded her in death. She was a member of Barwick Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Grady & Marilyn Thornhill of Waycross, GA., Charles and Jane Thornhill of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Wilburn Owens of Pavo, GA.; grandchildren, Cindy Miller, Lindsey Thornhill, Charla Dean, Carla Barnes, Allen Thornhill, Rick Owens, Bret Owens and Jason Owens and ten great grandchildren.
