Elsie Elizabeth Simpson Caldwell

Graveside services for Elsie Elizabeth Simpson Caldwell, 78, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Morris Nichols will officiate. Mrs. Caldwell died March 31 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 18, 1929, in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clifford and Annie Pearl Alligood Simpson. She was married to George E. Caldwell, who preceded her in death. Survivors include sisters-in-law, Velma Simpson of Huntsville, Ala., Dorothy Simpson of Thomasville and Katie Caldwell of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by a son, James Mickey Simpson; and brothers, Cecil Simpson, Julius Simpson, Jesse Simpson, Jack Simpson, Pip Simpson, Remer Simpson and J. B. Simpson.
