Graveside services for Elton B. Roberts, 78, of Pavo, are 3:30 PM, Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Laurel Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Garland Basford officiating. Mr. Roberts died March 11, 2007 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 12, 1928 in Thomas County, he was the son of the late William A. & Nadia Lee Johnson Roberts. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Dalton, Ga, owned his own service station in Nankin, Ga. and was a Veteran. Survivors include sons, Alan Grant Roberts, of Palm Beach, FL, Elton David Roberts of Waycross, GA, daughters, Nancy Kathleen Gibbud, of Tampa, FL, Darlene Elizabeth Brown, of Jacksonville, FL, Linda Joanne Baker, of Lenox, GA, Joyce Ellen Luke, of Nashville, GA, Suzanne Gail Keele, of Hahira, GA, sister, Maxie Paula Skipper, of Thomasville, and 13 grandchildren.
